Over the Easter weekend, I drove ALLLLL the way to New Albany, Ohio with all my baking goods in my trunk and a change of clothes. Why on Earth would I go to Ohio you ask… Well, it was my cousin’s bridal shower and I was asked to bake the cupcakes. Ohio isn’t so bad you guys. I mean… It’s boring, but it’s not bad. I’d move there if I was 60 and boring.

As soon as I arrived, it was Bridal Shower Bootcamp. You think I’m kidding, but I’m not. Everyone was put to work making decorations while I was in my soon to be cousin’s gorgeous kitchen baking my butt off. Let me tell you how gorgeous her kitchen was: granite countertops with an island in the middle and a DOUBLE OVEN… Let me repeat that… A DOUBLE FREAKIN’ OVEN! Only in my dreams will I ever have one!

So let me present to you these cupcakes - Lemon blueberry cake, yes those are fresh blueberries, with a lemon cream cheese frosting and topped with a blueberry. MMM… My mouth is watering.
